Astrology, from all traditions, has entered the realm of respectability.
Two men, Richard Tarnas and Stan Grof, produced a video series entitled, The Changing of the Gods, to present their research validating the irrefutable evidence of planetary bodies on the collective psyche of the world and individuals.

After thirty or more years of collaboration Tarnas and Grof have come forward with their work. Rick Tarnas is a Psychologist and Historian, Stan Grof, a psychiatrist, instrumental in psychedelic research and the development of Holotropic breathing for use in psychotherapy.

The applicability and value of astrology has been praised by great thinkers. Over the past few decades aspects of astrology have been researched under different names. Franz Halberg was an early founder of Chronobiology and the study of circadian rhymes. At a retirement dinner he suggested the study be called Astrobiology, but his recommendation was not accepted. His work showed the value of aligning the timing of medication to the specific cycle of activity within each organ. These cycles are based on consistent patterns spanning one day, week, month, or year of solar or lunar cycles.

Carl Jung can be called the founder of archetypical psychology. He reported his use of astrology extensively with his clients. Joesph Campbell, a writer, best known for his work entitled A Hero’s Journey is based on the twelve stages of the journey. Campbell was a professor of literature at Sarah Lawrence College and his focus was in comparative mythology and religion. We are obviously in a paradigm shifting time.
