Introducing the Nakshatras has raised many questions. One question was, “Why are you complicating each sign?” All questions are valid, but few fall into the category of a simple answer. Here, the answer requires an examination of how we see the world. Because how we do that will affect our attitudes and behaviours.

Tropical astrology sees the Sun alone, as the creator of the Zodiac. Since the Sun represents a male God. As a result, males treated themselves as being superior in everything. In Jyotish, the female Moon first created the Nakshatras while the male Sun created the sun-signs. Their combined effort represents the equality between the two genders.

The Moon represents the things we cannot see, such as how or why people think in a certain way, and their emotions. While we cannot see thoughts and emotions, we know they exist. Conversely, the Sun represents the things we can see. This symbolizes the balance between the two genders and the importance of acknowledging both the visible and invisible aspects of life. This concept can be challenging for those raised unconsciously in a patriarchal society.

Introducing the Nakshatras will continue but in a modified way, and when possible examples will be given.
