No ruler is 100% good or 100% bad. The strength of each ruler depends not only on its own position or degree, but on the influences received by every other type of ruler. An important step is to remember the Sun and the Moon are of equal strength, however there is a difference between them.
The important difference between Sun signs and Moon’s may take a moment to appreciate. The Sun sign rules Aries, Taurus, etc. have influence over things which are visible, such as our bodies. Conversely, the Moon Nakshatras rulers of Ashwini, Bharani etc. and have influence over the invisible aspects of our mind, emotions and thought processes.
It’s true, we can speculate about how a person thinks or feels, but it’s impossible for us to know for sure. We can sympathize with someone’s pain, but there is no way we can feel it. The Nakshatras provide greater understanding of things we can’t see, but that are just as important as anything we do see.
